KT Yun is a hot glass artist using traditional techniques with contemporary and graphic designs. She is passionate about teaching students the fundamentals of working with hot glass, training them with a formula they can take forward in their chosen direction. KT was apprentice with many masters, including Philip Baldwin, Monica Guggisberg and Neil Wilkin. She has travelled extensively, assisting renowned glass artists around the world, including Dale Chihuly, Lino Tagliapietra, Pino Signoretto and many more. She also worked as a ‘designer for industry’ at Royal Brierley Crystal. KT now brings all her experience, skills and knowledge into her teaching.
From an early age a fascination for nature and a love of drawing began. Her keen exploration of the structure of plants, animals and insects informs her glass design and unique style.
